  1. Online Booking Systems: If you’re anything like me, thinking about booking appointments and messaging happens at 2am. But I also think about the fact that a large majority of business owners have these notifications linked to their phones and the idea of accidentally waking someone up at 2am because that’s when my brain thinks of it, makes me rethink sending. Then I say to myself “I will remember to call or message in the morning” even though time and time again, I have proven to myself that I will, in fact, not remember! So when presented with the option of online scheduling, it’s a midnight thinkers dream!

    Our online booking system allows our clients to conveniently schedule appointments anytime, anywhere, reducing the need for phone calls and minimizing scheduling errors. Although we recognize that figuring out new systems and technology can be a small step for some or a big leap for others, once you’ve done it, you’ll realize just how easy it actually is!

2. Mobile Apps: I love apps! And even more so when they’re multifaceted and have features that help in Mobile apps have become indispensable tools for businesses across various industries, and hair salons are no exception. Developing a custom salon app allows you to engage with clients on a deeper level, offering features such as appointment booking, push notifications for appointment reminders, messaging stylists and potentially even virtual hairstyle consultations. We are super excited that our app for our salon has come to fruition and is nearly ready for download in the App Store. Along with all the above mentioned, it will allow you to even pay for your appointment from your phone, while sitting in your stylists chair!

Typeform Appointment Requests: With a team of 20+ stylists and growing, having individual stylist customized request forms allow clients and potential clients to send a request to a specific stylist detailing what they’re looking for and allowing the stylist to know how much time they need to complete your vision. Your stylist will be in touch with you within 1-3 business days (don’t forget, we also respect our teams non-working time and personal time!) and from there, they will guide you to what you need based upon your desires.

Contactless Payments: With the ongoing emphasis on health and safety, contactless payment options have become increasingly common. Implementing secure contactless payment solutions not only minimizes physical contact but also expedites the checkout process, reducing wait times and enhancing overall efficiency. Whether you decide to take advantage of our BHB app payment option, or pay through our system, both options offer a contactless payment option which further demonstrates our commitment to providing a safe and convenient experience for you, our clients.

Texting: Our salon has moved away from traditional phone calls and primarily communicates via text. We value each of our clients' individual experiences and strive to provide dedicated, personalized attention during every visit to our salon. Unlike traditional setups, we operate with a commitment to one-on-one service between our skilled stylists and clients sitting in their chair, ensuring a focused and tailored experience. As a result of this dedicated approach, we do not have a reception team managing incoming messages. While we aim to respond promptly to all inquiries, please understand that our stylists prioritize their clients' needs during appointments. Consequently, responses to messages may take some time as we devote our full attention to delivering exceptional service to each individual. Rest assured, your messages are important to us, and we will strive to address them as promptly as possible without compromising the quality of service provided to our valued clients.
